The Gates January 2, 2008 No matter what it is that you want to do, you can begin today. The present is the domain of all miracles. Jump right into the abundant river of life. Fear is the sole destroyer of dreams. Fear of the future, the unknown, of mistakes, of scarcity and lack, and of imperfection. Culture conditions us to ask for permission to do what we want. It also influences us into doing things that create pain, distress, and suffering. It is a lie that there is not enough room for people of all kinds, even those that have fallen off the course. The gates are wide enough to accept those who have done wrong through forgiveness and love. Mistakes can be forgiven if one only forgives him or herself and realigns him or herself onto the right path. To love unconditionally we must be happy unconditionally. We must find happiness in the invisible, the spiritual. We must learn to trust our inner voices, our intuition. Finding joy from within rather than from without will create miracles and a world of love. The current conditions are all here because of the mindset of people in general. A shift in thinking, from selfishness into a universal brotherhood, because the world really does have enough goodness for everyone, has the potential to change vast multitudes of lives. That is what you must do. Open the gates of love for all the people in your life. Bring a higher awareness of the divine identity of our spiritual world, of the true loving nature of all people, to those you care about. This shift can only be brought through love. Create all forms of wealth by living in love so that others will see and decide to live a life of love as well. Other people will be awakened to the power of love and wonder why they ever lived without it. Create value for others and give it away. Stop and live your life consciously making decisions instead of simply listening to what others say. Act without fear after aligning your actions with your moral intuition of what is right and wrong. In all these ways love can be brought to other people. How does one lose fear? If you know what you want to achieve and are unafraid to act then you can do so and continue to try endlessly to achieve what you want. However, all fear must be gone first. To leave all fear behind become your own individual guided by reason. Commit yourself to what is right. Make it a habit to do good. At that point you will know that you are not in the wrong with any higher power. Think about why you fear others' opinions. Some points you may consider are that you cannot please everyone at once, some people may have only their own interests in mind and may not like the way you spread love to all, and that if you are in the right with your intuitive morals then it should not matter what others think of you. Another type of fear to stop is the fear of failure, which assumes that no one ever makes mistakes or that mistakes cannot be forgiven, but through love all things are forgivable. When the fear of being in the wrong, the fear of others' opinions of you, and the fear of making mistakes are each gone you can go on to truly show the amazing gates of love to all people. You can show others that to be in heaven one does not always need to leave the Earth but only needs to live a life of love. Joshua Schwarz
