Seeking the Truth July 26, 2007 Winston Churchill - Men (or women) occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened. The truth about what we should be doing is within us. We know the solutions to our problems but seldom take the time to look for the answers. When we do find the answers, they seem too simple, and we run off in search of help elsewhere. It is true that many people claim to have been influenced greatly by some book they have read or help they have received from someone else but that is all because their search for answers in the world led them back to themselves. Writings in the world are only as good as their own ability to allow us to look deeper into ourselves finding what we are after. There is no need at all to go looking far and wide for the answers you seek because you already possess them. To find them you must first take a break from what is going on around you. Second, let all distractions that you hold mentally drift away by concentrating on your problem or worry that you seek to solve or justify. Third, know that no matter what happens all will be made right in the end. Finally, wait for your answers. They will not be Earth-shattering. They will be quite simple. Yet, in their simplicity they are great and will grow into a large dream beyond whatever your problems may be. Look in yourself to solve all problems by surpassing them. Don't only get by but decide for yourself that you choose to thrive in life. Find the truth in yourself and dream for greater things beyond your problems. Slowly, they will be no more and simply will disappear. You will realize they were problems only until you chose to push on despite them. Once they are no longer allowed to limit you, they are no longer problems because the truth has been in you all along. Don't run off but live your life today in the truth. Joshua Schwarz |
