Stepping Past the World January 22, 2007 David Starr Jordan - The world stands aside to let anyone pass who knows where he is going. The world can be a very confusing and hectic place. Mixed signals come from every direction to teach us how we should live our lives. Some suggest for us to be selfish and trample anyone that may get in our way. Others tell us to blend in so we can fit into the limited borders of the world. This does not have to be you. It is possible to step past the limited views of the world, but it sure is not easy. The only way to really step past the world is to take a leap of faith. Step forward without fear and accomplish anything you desire. Fear of rejection from those you know is why it is so difficult to step out of the crowd. Unfortunately for you, the world has already rejected you. The simple fact that you are looking to find meaning in your life makes you different from the majority and you should expect to face opposition. Very often we allow ourselves to be influenced by people that believe they are in control. However, once you step forward, the tables have turned in your favor. Be amazed as you see people allow you to pass. If you know where you are going, then no one will ever stop you. If you decide to step past the world you will leave all opposition behind. Be prepared to enter the place of your dreams. Everything will be possible for you. The trials and obstacles of the world will be only a simple solution away. Joshua Schwarz
