Pursue a Passion January 19, 2007 A seed has been planted in you since the day you were born. This seed holds everything that you dream you will one day do. It holds everything you hope to become. It is very easy to live each day by simply going through the motions. Wake up, eat, go to work, come home, eat, sleep, and then begin the whole process once again. When you only go through life's motions you miss the best part of being alive. In fact, you are not actually living until you water the seed within you. You need to nourish that seed and give it light in your life. If you could create one thing, have a certain job, or accomplish a certain task what would it be? Often, people have trouble with this question because they are so accustomed to simply being alive instead of actually living. Whenever you create a goal for yourself and work to see its completion you are truly alive. Find something that invigorates you. It can be absolutely anything. Now, expand it and make it into a huge dream. Find ways to start to work toward your goal little by little. Once you find a dream and live with it everywhere you go you become a brand new person. Believe that one day your dream will be brought into reality and you will never be bored again. You may ask, "what if my dream never comes true?" The very moment that you think this you are being set up for failure. Once you truly believe that you can bring your dream alive then your life will be transformed. Even if your dream is never brought to life the powerful way of living that dreaming brings you is too great to pass up. In the end you may discover that what you have now is everything you ever dreamed of. It was just waiting to be discovered. Joshua Schwarz
